animated movies 2019

The last three decades changed the world’s perception of animated movies. It isn’t just for children, and the really good ones can engage all age groups. 2018 was a great year for animation, with some top notch movies released, especially Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which has already become one of the greatest animated movies ever. Hopefully 2019 will continue that same level of quality and success. Here’s a look at a list of animated movies 2019 has in store for us:

1. Toy Story 4 (June 21)

Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz (Tim Allen) are back in this sequel to Toy Story 3 after a 9-year hiatus. Toy Story 3 was the perfect ending to a beautiful trilogy that captured the hearts of adults and children alike. So why does Pixar want to make a fourth film which may ruin the franchise’s stellar reputation? We’ll find out on June 21.
